Sydor Picosecond Gated Optical Imager (psGOI)

Ultrafast Optical Capture. Resolution. Versatility.

The psGOI delivers exposure times down to 80 ps and repetition rates up to 100 Hz, allowing for capture of ultra-fast events with unwavering spatial accuracy. The configuration of the gating electronics allows performance with very low jitter and a small trigger delay.

Key Benefits

  •  Blazing-Fast Gating
Achieve exposure times down to 80 ps. Low jitter ensures reliable, precise time-resolution.

  • High Rep-Rate Signal Capture
Supports frame rates up to 100 Hz perfect for repetitive pulsed-laser and plasma imaging workflows.

  • High-Speed Resolution Through Imaging Events
Each 18 mm image intensifier is housed in a unique enclosure that incorporates an axial magnetic field that ensures high spatial resolution at the fastest gate-times.

  • User-Friendly Integration
Interface that integrates data collection, scripting and data support.

Solutions are available with 1, 2, 4, or 8-channel imaging heads, and are upgradeable to accommodate more imaging heads when needed. Specialty imaging heads enhance spatial resolution and overcome the distortions often associated with imaging at this fast of gating speeds.
