Projectile & Weapon Testing

Evaluated for performance under various conditions

To standardize this testing, for both procedural steps and environmental conditions, Sydor can provide any necessary components to perform these tests. Common standards are outlined below:

Common Standards

  • Small Caliber Universal Receiver/Medium Caliber Universal Receiver – with appropriate stand, table, recoil system, firing box, velocity/pressure barrels, cleaning kits, and boresights/borelasers
  • Pressure Measurement Equipment – includes Pressure Transducers, Cabling, Consumables, and optional Calibration Equipment
  • Calibration Equipment (Optional)
  • Velocity Measurement System – customized to meet your indoor or outdoor measurement requirements.
  • Action Time Unit
  • Triggers – can be provided with Infra-Red Sensor and Solid State Blast Switch
  • Data Acquisition – Sydor’s data can all be processed with the Integrated Range Instrumentation System (IRIS). For this test, the velocity and pressure IRIS systems would be provided.
