Mr. Glenn Hopkinson Appointed General Manager of UK Based SABRE Ballistics
ROCHESTER, N.Y., January 27, 2015 – Sydor Instruments has announced the appointment of Mr. Glenn Hopkinson, MBA, as General Manager of its UK based SABRE Ballistics division, effective immediately. Michael Pavia, President Sydor Instruments, will continue as Managing Director, a role he assumed when the company was acquired by Sydor Instruments in August 2014. Mr. David Balfour, currently UK Operations Executive, will continue in his role for an extended period of time to ensure continuity and a smooth transition.

Prior to this appointment, Mr. Hopkinson held a variety of general management, business development and senior commercial positions; he has a background in Night Vision equipment, Spectroradiometers and Armour Systems at various aerospace, security and defense companies including GEC, Chemring Euorpe, Aegis Engineering and 4D Controls.
