Stab Rigs
The Sydor Technologies Stab Rig is a self-supporting drop rig. This structure was engineered testing soft and hard body armor, evaluated to meet all major international standards.

The intended use is for testing the resistance to penetration of personal armor and other protective materials against knife or spike attack. This system can test samples up to an energy of 90 J using a wide assortment of threat simulators. Stab testing can be conducted along with ballistic testing, to ensure well rounded protection against common hazards and threats encountered by law enforcement and military personnel. The custom designed software will indicate the necessary drop height and will calculate the impact energy upon completion of the test.
As Biokinetics’ sales representative, we also can supply the Biokinetics Stab Tester. The Stab Tester is a self-supporting structure that permits the testing of soft and hard body armour to be evaluated to the stab standards of the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) and the Home Office Scientific Development Branch (HOSDB). This system can test samples up to an energy of 90 J using a wide assortment of threat simulators. The custom designed software will indicate the necessary drop height and will calculate the impact energy upon completion of the test.
