Kentech Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG) & Programmable Optical Pulse Shaper (POPS10)
Kentech AWGs allow for the creation of custom pulse waveforms that can be appiled to EOMs and tailored to your specific laser pulse. This allows optimal compensation for any gain depletion effects, which impacts the laser profile. Additionally, AWGs can be paired with EOMs as a single packaged unit (POPS10), with fiber input and output interfaces. This solution is useful to compensate for gain depletion in the pulse laser amplification system.
Applications
Pulse Shaping
Electro-optic modulators (EOMs) are frequently used in laser pulse shaping for the manipulation of a pulse’s waveform. This could include the width, amplitude, and/or polarization of the original signal. EOMs...
Pockels Effect
Pockels Cells are electro-optical devices that are used to rotate the polarization of lasers via the Pockels Effect. Drivers are required for precise control over the Pockels Cell. Pockels cells...
