Sydor’s Infra-Red Sensor is designed to detect abrupt changes in infra-red radiation which exceeds a preset threshold.
The sensor is designed to detect high temperature gases emanating from boilers, explosions, and gun barrels. Typically, it may be used for muzzle exit sensing and rate of fire measurements of weapons.
The unit is partially encapsulated to resist the ingress of water to the electronics and detector. A universal clamp and small stand are provided to facilitate installation.
