Infinition BR1001 Doppler Radar

The BR-1001 Doppler radar antenna utilizes the Doppler principle to measure the velocity of moving objects. It is particularly well suited for measuring the velocity at the gun muzzle, but is also powerful enough to measure at medium range depending on the caliber. This radar unit is ideal for measuring on 5.56mm to 155mm projectiles.

The radar antenna consists of a transmitting and a receiving antenna (bistatic configuration). The transmitter output power can be selected between 0.2W and 2W to accommodate short and long range measurements. The receiver has very low noise figure in order to provide maximum sensitivity and detection range.

When used in conjunction with Infinition’s junction box and TestCenter Doppler processing software, it provides a powerful tool for ballistic analysis.

Infinition BR29015 Doppler Radar

The BR-29015 Doppler radar antenna utilizes the Doppler principle to measure the velocity of moving objects. It is particularly well suited for measuring the velocity at the gun muzzle, but is also powerful enough to measure velocity at short and long range, for projectile calibers ranging from 5.56mmm to 155mm including standard projectiles, basebleed, tracers, APFSDS, sub-calibers, rockets, etc.

The radar antenna consists of a transmitting and a receiving antenna (bi-static configuration). The transmitter output power can be selected between 1W and 15W to accommodate short and long range measurements. The receiver has a very low noise figure in order to provide maximum sensitivity and detection range. It also provides adequate filtering to reduce the likelihood of interference from other nearby radars operating in the same frequency range.

When used in conjunction with Infinition’s junction box and TestCenter Doppler processing software, it provides a powerful tool for ballistic analysis.

Infinition BR3502 Doppler Radar

The BR-3502 Doppler radar antenna utilizes the Doppler principle to measure the velocity of moving objects. It is a low cost radar that can be used in a variety of application such as projectile muzzle velocity, in-bore measurement, very short range velocity measurement, etc. It is a great alternative to optical chronographs.

The BR-3502 is compact as well as easy to deploy and use. It works at 35.5GHz and provides more than 3 times better resolution than a 10.5GHz (X-Band) radar, and can therefore be used on very small projectile calibers (ex: 1mm). The BR-3502 is particularly well suited for interior ballistic ranges where very short range measurements (down to few meters) are performed. It can also be used outside for short range measurement up to 250 meters (and more), depending on projectile caliber.

When used in conjunction with Infinition’s junction box and TestCenter Doppler processing software, it provides a powerful tool for ballistic analysis.

Infinition BR3503 Doppler Radar

Projectile velocity can be measured inside the gun barrel by using the BR-3502 in combination with a reflector, which is typically a metal plate made out of standard 1/8 inch thick aluminum sheet. Special accessories can be provided to properly align the radar beam and the reflector to achieve optimum results. Typically, in-bore measurement can be performed for 20mm caliber and above.

Infinition JB-6e Doppler Radar

The JB-6e junction box is designed to provide a simple, compact and reliable solution to interfacing various instrumentation Doppler radars without compromising performance. At the heart of the JB-6e is a powerful MCU-FPGA system combined with a two channel 2.5 MHz, 16-bit A/D that provides outstanding performance and flexibility. The JB-6e performs signal conditioning, sampling and transfer over a 100 Mbps Ethernet link of up to two radar signals simultaneously. By using an internal ~32 MB FIFO buffer, the JB-6e can reliably process and transfer data for long periods of acquisition without compromising data integrity.

Infinition TestCenter Software

TestCenter is a Windows based software that provides the calculations and analysis interface for ballistic instrumentation of all sort of projectiles. This multitasked application allows the operator to see and start analyzing the data even before the end of the acquisition.

When used in conjunction with Infinition CW Doppler radar systems, TestCenter is a powerful tool capable of measuring projectile velocity standard projectiles, basebleed, tracers, sub-calibers, rockets, etc.
