The Sydor Free Space Flat-field Illuminator is a large aperture uniform RGB LED light source that can be operated in DC or pulsed mode. It’s an ideal source for acquiring flat field images or as a backlight for the Free Space Reticle Nest.
The Sydor CCD Trigger Combiner Box (CTCB) provides the flexibility to trigger the CCD in the ROSS Streak Camera with an external source in addition to the ROSS internal source. This is ideal for environments without a pre-trigger built into their timing system. The CTCB enables the ROSS electronics to trigger the CCD for auto-calibration routines and then allow an external source to trigger the CCD for live shots.
The Sydor Serial to Fiber Adapter (Extended Communications Link) provides optical isolation of camera controls for any of the Sydor ROSS Streak Cameras. The Adaptor provides an optical communication interface between the ROSS electronics and the host PC. This enables remote operation in electrically noisy environments over distances up to 60 meters via duplex multimode fiber.
